Ireland Dublin
Number of people taking this action: 250 or more
On Tuesday 25th September 2018 members of the Irish Coalition 2030 will run an awareness raising action about the 2030 Aganda from 8am to 8pm in the heart of the city of Dublin. A giant banner of 40 meters displaying the text "17 Global Goals and a promise: to leave no one behind"  will be displayed from 7.30am to 8pm on the west railing of Rosie Hackett Bridge to be seen by hundreds of pedestrians crossing the famous O'Connell Bridge in the Dublin City Center. From 12pm to 3pm and from 5pm to 7pm,  volunteers from the partner organisations will be on sidewalk of O'Connell bridge to inform pedestrians who want to understand the message of the banner and know more about the 2030 Agenda. At 1pm, activists, staff members of Coalition 2030 organisations (and general public who wants to join) will be invited to gather at 1pm close to O'Connell Bridge. At 1.17pm (1 promise + 17 goals) a symbolic #Act4SDGs picture will be taken from O'Connell Bridge. At 1.20pm, the  #Act4SDGs walk will start from O'Connell Bridge to the Garden of Rememberance to create stronger awareness on the challenges of #Goal10: Reducing Inequalities. At 1.50pm the march will end with a gathering in the Garden of Rememberance with speeches and music.
