Peace March and SDGS Exhibition

LagosWomen2030 led by Echoes of Women in Africa will be having a peace walk  with 150 women, girls and He4Shes to celebrate the 3rd  anniversary of the SDGS on  the International Peace Day (IPD) September 21st 2018 in Ikeja Lagos State.  The Theme:  is "Every Woman Has a Right to Peace'.   This will be followed  on September 24th by an SDGS exhibition with CSOS displaying the different goals they are working on. The private sector and government are invited to collaborate and share their success on the SDGS. All these are aimed to create awareness, involve local communities and build partnership with government and private sector towards realising the 2030 Agenda.

About LagosWomen2030

Echoes of Women in Africa Initiatives a Nigerian non governmental women human rights organisation and a member of Women2030 established a sub national group Lagoswomen2030 in 2017. The group made up of Women CSOs and He4She has been engaged in monitoring the implementation of the SDGS in Lagos State using gender lens for assessment. LagosWomen2030 is working to localise the SDGS by establishing grassroots groups in the 20 local government area to involve grassroots women and girls in demanding accountability on SDGS implementation.
