ManEco is foundation in public benefit in close cooperation with the Balkan Agency for Sustainable Development (BASD) - representative for the Balkans of the Earth Charter. Activities: Sustainable development through work for achieving Sustainable Development Goals 3. Good Health and Well-Being, 6. Clean Water and Sanitation, 7. Affordable and Clean Energy, 12. Responsible Consumption and Production, 13. Climate Action, 14. Life Below Water, 15. Life on Land, 16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. These activities are achieved through various partnerships, educations, creative ways for involvement of the public.
ManEco Foundation is driven by the core text of the Ecological Manifesto (https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/19e019_39ccb896528e4e9f9e9df88e83f3b828.pdf) where its main goals are stated. Mainly those are – sustainable development through a secure ecological environment and peaceful living; as well as reducing inequality and providing food and education for the people most in need.
ManEco Foundation also created petition for Reducing the use of plastic bags (https://www.peticiq.com/199779) and it is part of the Caps for the Future campaign.
The Foundation was established in April 2018 and till now it is external partner to two Erasmus+ projects:
1. Eco Circle project, Erasmus + KA2 - Training in Braila, Romania, June, 2018, BASD and presentation of the Ecological Manifesto earlier in Sofia, Bulgaria.
2. H.O.P.E. project, Erasmus + KA2 - Trainer in Sofia, Bulgaria, March, 2018, Bulgarian Agency for Sustainable Development
