I integrate the UN sustainable goals into all my studies and personal life.
As my role for the head of International Game Developers Association (IGDA), I aim ''Decent work and economic growth'' and ''Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure''. To empower change agents with the power of play, we will be active in organizing conferences under IGDA - Istanbul.
At the university, I produce projects targeting the SDGs and work with The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.
My last project is aligned with SDG 3 Good Health and Well Being.
The project is focused on stethoscope training of medical students. The project is designed which presents a new learning method on with the target of supporting efficient use of stethoscope and improving heart auscultation skills with the goal of more accurate and faster diagnosis of abnormal heart beats which is most commonly heard.
The prototype of the aforementioned game has been designed and developed during a program designated for UN sustainable goals by CRI Paris - Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity - Descartes University in 2017 July in representation of Bahçeşehir University Game Laboratory - Istanbul and has been awarded with ''Best Cost Effect''.
In the very near future, I will be training students on innovation and change at universities. I will be providing information on SDGs with the aim of creating awareness on SDGs, and be training their skills and competency for innovation, skills for communication, skills for strategic thinking, skills for leadership, skills for creative problem-solving, skills for creativity, skills for Impact.
I believe that universities are a cornerstone for the achievement of the SDGs, and in the future, I would like to work towards how universities can contribute to implementing the SDGs through their core functions of education, research, operations and external leadership.
I am all in for SDGs and let's join forces to empower them!
