Youth Ambassador Programme - Global Issues and the SDGs

Japan Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan
Number of people taking this action: 50-250
The 2018 UNITAR Hiroshima Youth Ambassador Programme brings together 20 high school students from across Hiroshima Prefecture to learn about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Over the programme, the Youth Ambassadors work in teams to research a specific SDG and introduce it to the whole group, including specific ideas for what young people in Japan can do to help achieve the SDGs. They also learn about leadership and communication skills, and have opportunities to interact and learn from other UNITAR programme participants from countries such as South Sudan. We would like to heartily thank everyone for their support, including the Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly, Hiroshima Prefectural Government, Hiroshima City Assembly, Hiroshima City Hall, Chugoku Shimbun newspaper, and Soroptimist.8月25日、2018年度ユニタール広島青少年大使プログラムが始まりました。
