About Badhon Manob Unnayan Sangstha

BADHON ManobUnnayanSangstha is trying to establish social awareness in the south-west region of Bangladesh in Bagerhat district since June’ 2001. This organisation began its work with underprivileged population and since then working on issues like health & hygiene, non-formal primary education, human rights, child rights, good governance, domestic violence, ecological agriculture, natural disaster, HIV/AIDS Social Audit on VGD program, Anti-Corruption Campaign and gender mainstreaming. Now we are trying to establish basic human rights, encourage youth leadership, governance and climate friend livelihoods with 30 school based science clubs and 6 local youth clubs and 180 local youth volunteers. For marginalize farmer, person with disability, women, adolescent and young people. Badhon also working with the network of Campaign for good governance, Democratic budget movement, Food security, Gender and water alliance and established a Community action network for tax justice.

Badhon's Goal:

Our goal is to increase participation, food security and alternative income sources among the youth and inclusive development of the south-west region of Bangladesh.
