The Civil Society Initiative for the Sustainable Development Goals in Côte d'Ivoire (ISC/ODD-CI) was taken in July 2015 following the mixed results of the MDGs and in preparation for the adoption of the MDGs in September 2015 in three areas: CSCI, CNOSCI and GOFEHF.
It is a platform that aims to ensure better coordination of the initiatives of Member Organizations and a pooling of efforts in terms of actions of Ivorian civil society on the promotion, extension and monitoring of the implementation of the MDGs in Côte d'Ivoire.
The Member Organisations of the ISC/ODD-CI reaffirm with determination and commitment that the Sustainable Development Goals, the cornerstones of the 2030 agenda, constitute the foundation for the harmonious development in general of our country but also for the development and improvement of the living conditions of the most deprived populations in particular.
Member Organizations share a common ideal, that of a Côte d'Ivoire that respects its international, regional, sub-regional and national commitments.
ISC/ODD-CI is particularly interested in the implementation of the commitments made by the State of Côte d'Ivoire through the United Nations Programme for Sustainable Development "Agenda 2030" or Sustainable Development Goals (SDOs), Africa's Agenda 2063, etc.
