Sahaj Sansthan working in the locations where extreme poverty existed and millions of women and girls experiencing discrimination and exclusion, we believe that those challenges are as great as any we have faced in our life. Sahaj set targets local level on basis of agenda 2030 and its sets ambitious targets to eliminate extreme poverty and hunger, provide quality education for all, protect the planet and promote peaceful, inclusive societies – and to do so in a way that leaves no one behind. By definition, this means we must reach the most disadvantaged, vulnerable and excluded groups – every woman and every girl, in every society in our target area as per our capacities.
Sahaj founded by social workers who worked in Lok Jumbish Pariyojana (Rajasthan People’s movement for education for all and its one of best programme in education sector) from 1992. The social worker team were not want to leave area after successfully end of this programme because there were lots of work still needed in area for empowerment of women and girls and to work in different thematic issues including health, nutrition, water, sanitation, hygiene, education, skill development and livelihood sectors. So they decided to establish organization in 1999-2000 and also set-up office in hard to reach area. Sahaj sansthan currently have 3 office and all three office are in villages where we are working.
