#Singabantu - We Are Human

Singabantu - We are Human is an Afrophobia awareness short filmshot in the remains of a Rosettenville, Johannesburg South Africa house burnt to the ground during a nationalwide wave of Afrophobic attacks. The film stars diverse youth from African countries who share the plight of being migrants.

About Sophie A Kanza Foundation

We recruit local and migrant youth to work together on community projects as a form of social cohesion and to promote the integration of migrant youth while doing Afrophobia awareness and advocacy campaigns with the use of our award winning short film #Singabantu that has been viewed in 4 continents. Our sanitary towel distribution and education project Fabulous Female funded purely through our unconventional fundraising activities has a footprint in 3 African countries. We are passionate about collaborations with youth led organizations across the continent.
