Wendy is a versatile global-minded Myanmar citizen who is driven to create sustainable change. She has spent half of her life in Yangon and the other half in Bangkok, Brussels, Canberra, Manila, Moscow, and Washington DC. She completed her postgraduate degree from Australian National University with Merit and the Vice-Chancellor’s Award. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce with Honors, Magna Cum Laude as a scholar.
She has over five years of diverse work experience ranging from public sector to private sector. She is fluent in English & Burmese with basic understanding of Thai & Tagalog. She has taken up French & Japanese as well.
She was selected as a delegate to the United Nations Association of Australia Young Professional National Conference in Sydney and the Bangkok Sister City Youth Program. She has volunteered for various causes around the globe. These experiences have sparked her interest to be part of a group of change makers in the region in line with the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
With her international background, local awareness, and passion to create a positive social impact, she is delighted to fulfill her role as an ASEAN MY World 2030 Advocate.
