About INTERNATIONAL WORKING LADIES

International Working Ladies Group is involved in women empowerment. It is a femcentric companies and foundation with a Women’s Economic Empowerment Center in Kinshasa, an incubator and accelerator for companies held by women.

International Working Ladies,

Is a concept with a pan-African dimension aiming at the development and the flourishing of the condition of the African woman by programs of accompanying the teenage girl, empowering the young single mother and helping the contribution of the Woman in the proactive life of the economy in the DRC and in Africa. Programs developed to eradicate gender disparity in Africa.

WORKING LADIES CABS:

A Company specialized in corporate taxi with her apps “Ubizcabs” these taxis are driven only by women (www.workingladiescabs.com),

- LE MONDE DE NYOTA:

An education program and company: Nyota is a 360 degree program designed to equip adolescent girls with the knowledge they need as they go through puberty, help them understand the changes happening in their bodies and be comfortable with those changes. With Nyota adolescent girls will learn how to respond these changes, get advice about how and who to talk to.

The purpose of Nyota is to inform adolescent girls about the different changes their bodies and mind go through during puberty period, explain to them that it is a normal process that they can navigate through it with the right information and education.

We also want to emphasize on the importance of the choices they make during this phase and how it will affect their future positively or negatively.

- SHEROES POPCORN

Is part of Working Ladies program which consists of empowering the young single mother and getting her out of the stalemate of poverty by providing a decent professional activity through the sale of popcorn in strategic and secured areas in the city of Kinshasa.
