ACTAsia, a charity founded in China that now operates in nine Asian countries, advocates for the importance of plant-based living in creating a more sustainable future.
During the annual “Plant Forward” campaign organized by ACTAsia’s Compassionate Choices Network, which takes place from 15 September to 4 October, the organization is hosting a broad range of events on the relationship between food consumption and the environment. This includes online events ranging from live-streamed cooking demonstrations with chefs to expert discussions with doctors and researchers. Additionally, localized in-person events such as vegan food sales, potlucks, and educational activities are taking place.
Through its efforts, ACTAsia promotes sustainable food consumption and helps advance SDG 2.
