Ecuador Dice No Más, a foundation that won the 2022 UN SDG Action Award in the Mobilize category, is taking initiative to protect children from sexual exploitation by raising awareness and conducting trainings.
As part of the Global Week to #Act4SDGs, the foundation hosted a screening of the movie “Sound of Freedom” together with partner organizations that confronted attendees with the topic of child trafficking and encouraged conversations on how to take action against this important issue.
In addition, Ecuador Dice No Más introduced its new #AcademyOfSUPERvivors program to the event audience. This program will include a series of trainings for women from around the world on the protection of children from sexual exploitation.
Through its awareness events and trainings, the UN SDG Action Awards winner works for SDGs 4, 5 and 16 and mobilizes important stakeholders in Ecuador and Latin America to keep children safe and support victims of sexual abuse.
