In collaboration with the Japanese Art Collective OBI, Urban Gorillas hosted a series of free workshops at the Pame Kaimakli Festival 2022, inviting people to learn how to create traditional kites inspired by Japanese Culture.
Urban Gorillas is an NGO established in 2013 and active in city-making through urban regeneration, community engagement and the implementation of cultural and artistic projects in public spaces. Its workshop comes as the first in a series of cultural and artistic actions to promote peace and to dissolve physical and mental borders of the division in the neighbourhood of Kaimakli in Cyprus.
