As students get older, many teachers feel constrained by state and national curriculum requirements and regulations.  Especially in subjects like formal classroom science, teachers feel they must teach the textbook. Our Action is all about educational empowerment. We are committing 17 days of our Twitter feed @EduChange to share free online resources and ways of thinking about real-world STEM to allow for contextual, meaningful learning experiences with all 17 SDGs. And you know what? There is tons of rich, rigorous STEM content to be taught in conjunction with the SDGs! We welcome educators from around the world to follow us on Twitter and tap into our hand-curated resources.  Use these resources  throughout the year, but join the kickoff on September 24-25 to #TeachSDGs in your classrooms!

About EduChange, Inc.

EduChange provides secondary teachers, students and educational leaders with comprehensive STE(A)M curriculum and professional development that supports an integrated, digital, lab-based, humanitarian approach to real-world issues. Through powerful learning experiences we connect personal, local and global contexts to help students participate in their communities, equipped with 21st century competencies and knowledge. We work with ministries of education, school networks, and single schools globally to bring up to 4 full years of interdisciplinary STE(A)M curriculum to the formal classroom, to be implemented during science class time. We teach ALL 17 of the SDGs to students Ages 13-20, demonstrating how connected they are and how small actions can make a big difference collectively. At EduChange we believe that there is no greater sense of power than the confidence in your own ability to learn, and that everyone can learn.
