About AIDS Awareness Society (AAS) Pakistan

AIDS Awareness Society (AAS), Pakistan, a non government, nonprofit and humanitarian organization, has completed its 25 years of dedicated services in July 2018, it was initiated as AIDS Awareness Group (AAG) in 1993, by the very committed persons, with visionary leadership abilities and deep concern for the human development and was registered as AIDS Awareness Society (AAS) in 2001 with government under Societies Act XXI, 1860,

registration No. RP/6592/L/S/2001.

AAS has is working for the awareness, prevention and treatment of HIV & AIDS, with its team equipped with the knowledge, skills of working with Most at Risk Population (MARPs) such as People Living with HIV & AIDS (PLWA), Female Sex workers (FSWs), People Who Inject Drugs (PWIDs), Transgender (TGs), Men having Sex with Men (MSM), Most at Risk Adolescents (MARA), EVA (Especially Vulnerable Adolescents), and women, children and religious leaders. Its also working for the improvement of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), research and advocacy for the rights of most marginalized communities of the soceity, promotion of peace, and building community leadership at grassroots level in Pakistan. The AAS team has the expertise in designing, developing and execution of different strategies and tools, to accomplish the organizational objectives.
