The Community Association for Vulnerable Persons (CAVP) is a nonprofit association based in Bamenda in the North West region of Cameroon. Founded and promoted by a woman with disability of that community, they started in 2014 and legalized in 2016, their mission is “improving the lives of single/teen mothers, women/girls with disabilities, widows, the old, orphans and vulnerable children in local communities through education, economic empowerment and social amenities in collaboration with other groups that raises their standards of living”.
Goal: “Improve on the quality of life of marginalized and vulnerable persons, especially women’’ in Santa subdivision in the North West Region of Cameroon
Main Objective: To improve the standards of living of single/teen mothers, women/girls with disabilities, widows, the old, orphans and vulnerable children “through education, business and economic empowerment, health and gender main-streaming in Santa subdivision in the North West Region of Cameroon
